Pad Thai Noodles

Pad Thai is a stir-fried noodle dish, typical street fare in Thailand and perhaps the #1 order at your local Thai restaurant. Arguably one of the most famous Thai dishes globally you can now enjoy it in the comfort of your home.

 

Our sweet tangy sauce (150g) with a hint of spiciness and aroma from  tamarind  plus  palm  sugar  give  it  an  authentic  Thai  taste. Moreover,  we  have  included  a  pack  of  brown  rice  noodles (gluten-free/ 100g) for your convenience - a healthier choice to consume and the perfect portion for 2 people

INGREDIENTS

4 tbsp.          vegetable oil

2 tbsp.          chopped garlic + shallot

2                   eggs

½ cup           firm tofu

200 g.           prawns / chicken optional

2 cups          mixed beansprout & Chinese chives

 

3 EASY STEPS

STEP 1.

Soak noodles in boiling water for 4 minutes, drain and set aside.

STEP 2.

Heat oil over high heat and stir-fry your meat + tofu + garlic and shallot until just cooked through.

Push everything to one side of the pan and add egg to the empty side. Let egg set for a minute, then break it up.

Add softened noodles and PAD THAI SAUCE. Stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes.

STEP 3.

Add vegetables, stir-fry a bit more until well combined.

 

Serve with lemon/lime wedges. Enjoy!

 

           Spice it how you like...


If you like it hot, add in some chili powder, and squeeze in some lime for extra tastiness!
